Please Note:  Some of our shops are beginning to re-open and this is creating new volunteering opportunities (shops, donation centre and online sales) but volunteering in other areas of the hospice is currently on hold as we put plans in place for when life returns to some kind of normality.

If you would like to volunteer, now or in the future, we would love to hear from you, simply complete our Volunteer Enquiry Form at the bottom of this page and we will be in touch as soon as possible.

Enquiries for volunteering roles in our shops, donation centre and online sales will be dealt with as a priority. Other new volunteer enquires will be put onto a waiting list for when new opportunities arise in this ever changing situation.

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers!

At Hospice at Home West Cumbria, we are proud of the remarkable contribution made by our volunteers, who share their skills and experience to help us deliver high quality care in our local community.

In these pages, you can discover more about how we ensure volunteering is a mutually beneficial experience for volunteers and Hospice at Home West Cumbria. You can find out more about the current opportunities we have for volunteers, how to apply for them and read about what volunteering feels like for some of the people already giving us their time.

We also welcome volunteers for one off projects or days from businesses who are looking to give something back to their community.
