Our corporate relationships are important to us.
Our corporate relationships are hugely important to us. Get your business involved in helping to provide expert and compassionate hospice care to local families. See below the different ways you can help support us.
How you can help
There are lots of ways you can get involved and help us to raise funds and awareness for our charity, here are just a few ideas
Choose us as your charity of the year
Pick us as your Charity of the Year and help us to make a real difference.
You’ll get stuck into fundraising events and activities, spread the word about the care we provide across West Cumbria, and show your team and customers you care about your community.
Let’s team up and do something amazing together.
Organise internal fundraising events
Internal fundraising events are a brilliant way to boost team spirit and morale.
Whether it’s a bake-off, dress-down day, quiz night or a sponsored challenge, these activities bring people together, spark creativity, and create a real sense of purpose in the workplace. They’re fun, exciting, and help staff feel proud to be part of something that makes a difference.
Plus, every pound raised helps Hospice at Home West Cumbria continue providing vital care and support to local families.
Sponsor an event or publication.
Put your business in front of over 4,000 engaged supporters by sponsoring an advert in our newsletter.
Sent twice a year, our newsletter reaches supporters, businesses, and community members who care deeply about local causes. It’s a brilliant way to show your support for Hospice at Home West Cumbria while boosting your brand visibility.
Encourage your staff teams to play our lottery.
Sign up to our weekly lottery to be in with the chance of winning the £25,000 Affinity jackpot plus a range of other cash prizes each draw.
For every £1 ticket entered into the Affinity draw, Hospice at Home West Cumbria receives 50p, helping us to raise funds to support our work. The more people play, the more money we receive.
Remember, every penny raised stays local to help us care for hundreds of people right across our region, providing them with wraparound support as they face the most difficult time in their lives.
Take on the £30 challenge
We’ll give your team £30—now let’s see what you can turn it into!
Whether it’s a bake sale, car wash, quiz night or something totally out-of-the-box, the challenge is simple: grow your £30 into as much as you can to support Hospice at Home West Cumbria.
Got more than one team? Brilliant! Why not spark some friendly competition between colleagues and see who can raise the most?
Collection box
Having one of our collection boxes is a simple but powerful way to support us.
Not only does it help raise vital funds, but it also sparks awareness about the care we provide across West Cumbria—right where people live, work, and shop.
Whether it’s placed in your business, reception area, or staff room, every coin dropped helps us continue delivering high quality care to those who need it most.
Sign up to Payroll Giving
Make a big impact with a small monthly gift—sign up to Payroll Giving!
It’s a simple, tax-efficient way for employees to donate directly from their salary. Because donations are taken before tax, it actually costs less to give more—meaning your support goes further for Hospice at Home West Cumbria.
For businesses, it’s a great way to show your commitment to local causes, boost employee engagement, and make giving easy and meaningful.
Volunteer
Get your company involved in making a difference while supporting your organisations social responsibility goals. Your team can contribute through skills-based volunteering, sharing expertise in areas like marketing, finance, IT, HR, etc to help us grow and improve.
Prefer something hands-on? Join us in one of our charity shops, helping to sort through our donations, organise stock, and keep things running smoothly. It’s a great way to give back while being part of a friendly, community-focused team. And we’re always open to new ideas! If you or your business has a unique way to support us, we’d love to hear it.
Pre-loved Collection Day
Organise a collection day for staff who wish to donate pre-loved items to help us raise vital funds for our services.
If your company would like to arrange a collection of donated goods, please get in touch. We can organise a convenient collection day tailored to your needs, and we accept a wide range of items.
All donated items are either sold in our retail shops or responsibly recycled, with proceeds going directly towards providing compassionate care and support to patients and families across West Cumbria.
