Charitable Trusts and Foundations provide essential funding to support loved ones and deliver palliative care for adults, helping them to live their best life for as long as possible.

Each year we need to raise over £1.5 million

This money is used to maintain and develop our services and every single grant is extremely important to help us achieve this. Generous funding has supported a number of projects, helping to support people through first class care and enabling us to:

  • provide skilled one-to-one home nursing

  • purchase equipment to deliver specialist lymphoedema treatments

  • run bereavement groups to support families struggling with their grief

  • provide complementary therapies to help patients with anxiety and aid better sleep

  • deliver vital services by funding our core activities.

Working with you to achieve your charitable objectives, whether through a restricted grant or by allowing us to use it where the need is greatest, we will also ensure you are kept updated when and how you prefer.

We believe that all people in West Cumbria should have timely access to personalised high-quality palliative and end of life care. We would be delighted to talk to you about our work and how your Trust, Foundation or Fund can support people going through really difficult times. Together, we can continue to make a difference to people and families living with a palliative diagnosis.
