Leanne sadly lost her mother-in-law to bone cancer last year, she said:
I’ve been in her life for 22 years and she was like a second mother to me and she was the most amazing grandmother to my two children. I've always thought Hospice at Home West Cumbria was a good charity but when things like this happen and you rely on Nurses from the hospice you realise, they need all the money to help them to continue to provide their invaluable services across West Cumbria. The nurse that looked after Iris the night she passed was worth her weight in gold.
