Hospice at Home West Cumbria is proud to support year two of the ‘This is Hospice Care’ campaign, led by Hospice UK, to raise awareness of the vital role hospices play in communities and the importance of future support through gifts in Wills.
The campaign aims to challenge misconceptions about hospice care and highlight the compassionate, specialist support provided to people at the end of life and their families — not just in hospice buildings, but in people’s own homes and communities.
As a charity, Hospice at Home West Cumbria relies heavily on the generosity of supporters to continue providing free, high quality end of life care across West Cumbria, with one in four people being cared for thanks to gifts in Wills. Leaving a gift in a Will is a powerful way to support future generations, helping ensure that patients and families across West Cumbria can continue to receive dignified, compassionate care when they need it most.
