Have a coffee morning for charity
Hospice at Home West Cumbria are asking individuals, businesses, schools, and community groups to join their Cuppa for Care campaign this September by hosting a coffee morning in aid of the local hospice charity.
To take part, simply choose any day in September to host your coffee morning, and let the charity know when and where you will be enjoying a cuppa and some delicious treats.
Holly Harkness, Community Fundraising Co-ordinator for Hospice at Home West Cumbria, said,
There’s nothing better than a good cuppa and a slice of cake, especially when shared with our nearest and dearest. And what could be better than knowing that by enjoying some delicious treats, you are helping your local hospice charity to continue to be there for patients and their families; a donation of just £50 could give an afternoon of respite care so carers can have a much-needed break. Please help us to bake a difference by hosting your very own Cuppa for Care this September – we’re looking forward to joining in and seeing the community come together to support our vital services.
Every penny raised through the Cuppa for Care campaign will stay in West Cumbria and help the charity continue to provide high quality, palliative and end of life care to people living in our own communities.
Hospice at Home West Cumbria have put together a free fundraising pack full of recipes, fundraising ideas, decorations, and games to help you take your fundraising further. If you would like to host your own Cuppa for Care and to request a fundraising pack, please contact the fundraising team on info@hhwc.org.uk or call 01900 873173.
