Local Fundraising Hero Gary McKee Reaches Incredible £1 Million Milestone
We are delighted to announce that local fundraising legend Gary McKee has achieved the remarkable milestone of raising £1 million for our charity over the past five years.
The achievement comes following Gary's latest challenge, 100TOLDN, which he completed alongside his son, Beau. The challenge has raised more than £100,000, pushing Gary's overall fundraising total beyond the £1 million mark.
Over the past five years, Gary has inspired people across West Cumbria through a series of extraordinary endurance challenges. His unwavering commitment has not only raised vital funds but has also shone a spotlight on the importance of hospice care and the difference it makes to local families facing some of life's most difficult moments.
The funds raised by Gary have helped our charity to continue providing specialist care and support to patients with life limiting illnesses, enabling them to remain in the comfort of their own homes, surrounded by loved ones. Donations also help provide emotional support for families and carers, ensuring they are not alone during challenging times.
