We invite you to join us to celebrate the lives of loved ones we have lost at our Light up a Life events this December.
Light up a Life is an important part of our hospice calendar and has been for many years, where we come together to remember those who are no longer with us, but always in our thoughts.
This year, our Light up a Life events will take place on Sunday 1st December 2024 at 2pm, in the following locations:
St Michael’s Church, Workington, CA14 2EZ
St Mary’s Church, Gosforth, CA20 1AZ
The Light up a Life services will include readings, choir performances, moments of reflection, and moving prayers. The lights on the hospice Christmas tree will be switched on during the service in memory of all the loved ones who have had a light dedicated in their memory, and we will also invite you to switch on your own candle, which will be available at the service, during this moment of reflection.

All dedications made by Friday 22nd November will be included in our Book of Lights. Dedications made after this date will be available to view on our website.
