Get involved with our World Cup fundraiser this Summer!

The FIFA World Cup takes place this June and July, and we are asking your school to get involved with our World Cup fundraiser this summer term!

How does it work?

Each child taking part will receive a plain t-shirt for them to design their very own World Cup t-shirt, with prizes on offer for the best design. Whether they choose to create their own football top, or create a design that represents the different countries taking part in the tournament, we can’t wait to see what pupils create.

We ask for a donation of £5 per child taking part, so that we can continue to be there for patients and their families in our local community when they need us most. Whether your whole school takes part, a specific year group or class, or pupils who are part of your sports clubs, we would love for you to join us for some summer fundraising!

How we can support you

Taking part in our World Cup fundraiser not only highlights the importance of physical health and exercise to pupils by linking to one of the biggest sporting events in the world, but also emphasises the themes of diversity and inclusion by exploring the different countries taking part.

Each school taking part will receive our fundraising pack, full of ways to bring your fundraising into lesson time, including a football quiz, wordsearch, and colouring sheets. We will celebrate your school’s support on our social media pages, and provide certificates for each child taking part, visiting the school afterwards to say a big thank you to pupils for their support.

How to get involved

To sign up, simply email our fundraising team on info@hhwc.org.uk, or give us a call on 01900 873173, to let us know that your school would like to get involved this summer term.
