You can take part throughout the month of July by submitting your best photos of your furry, feathered or scaly companion!

We know how much joy and comfort pets bring to people's lives, particularly during challenging times. As patients receive care and support in their own homes, they can remain alongside the pets they love, which can make a huge difference to their wellbeing. Pets provide comfort, reduce feelings of loneliness and anxiety, and offer a sense of normality in the most difficult of times. The Companions in Comfort Showcase is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our pets while helping us continue our work supporting patients and their families across West Cumbria.

How to take part:

Whether they’re a pampered princess, a mischievous troublemaker, or a majestic little oddball, we want to see them.

For just £5.00, your adorable pet could become an internet star and take home ultimate bragging rights and the chance to win a £15 voucher generously donated by RTSN Huddart Supplies in Cockermouth.

Submit your favourite pet photo and enter one of our fun categories! If you would like to enter another category, that will be a separate entry.

When entering please remember to let us know which category you would like to enter.

Following the entry period, a panel will shortlist the top entries in each category. The shortlisted pets will then be showcased on the Hospice at Home West Cumbria Facebook page, where members of the public will be invited to cast their votes and help choose the winners.

Every entry helps celebrate the wonderful, quirky personalities that make our pets unforgettable. You can join in at any time throughout July, and we’ll be in touch with our favourite pets on 17th of August.

For each category there will be a prize of a £15 voucher generously donated by RTSN Huddart Supplies in Cockermouth.
