Hospice at Home West Cumbria are doing all we can to safeguard our staff, volunteers and customers during the Covid-19 outbreak.  We have made a difficult decision to close our shops but we do intend to reopen as soon as we are able.

We would like to express our sincere thanks for your continued support and in the meantime, you can still help us and keep up to date by visiting our website, our e-Bay site and following us on social media:

What sounds better than some retail therapy that is also good for the environment and your local area?

We stock a whole range of great quality clothing, vintage items, antiques, books and accessories which are donated by our generous community for you to browse and enjoy.

Come and grab a bargain in one of our shops and help Hospice at Home provide care and support in West Cumbria.

Our retail staff are supported by approximately 86 amazing volunteers who are invaluable in the day-to-day running of our shops.

We also offer a donation collection service – just call 01900 268229 to arrange for our wonderful van volunteers to call on a Friday.

Our shops are a great way to support Hospice at Home West Cumbria and now you can shop from your own home at any time, day or night, by visiting our eBay shop

ebay

Head on over to our ebay store where we sell a wide variety of antiques, collectables and rare items. We stock a range of vintage clothing, jewellery and ornaments as well as a selection of out of print books and first additions.
You can also donate items specifically for us to sell online so please get in touch on 01900 268229 if you have something more unusual that you would like to donate to Hospice at Home West Cumbria.

Please Gift Aid it

When you make a donation to us, whether that’s a direct financial gift or a donation of goods for us to sell in our charity shops, we’re able to claim back the tax that you have paid on the donation.

As a hospice charity, we don’t pay tax on most types of income, which is why the tax paid on donations we receive can be claimed back. This is called Gift Aid and amounts to an extra 25p for every £1 that you give.
