Hospice at Home West Cumbria operate 3 fantastic Charity Shops in Workington, Whitehaven and Cockermouth. We are also proud to partner with Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland where our 4th shop in Keswick operates as a joint venture with proceeds going to both Hospice charities.

We are still developing our new ways of working for taking new donations. If you have good quality pre-loved items that you would like to donate, please call our shops directly or our Donation Centre on 01900 268229.

Our retail staff are supported by approximately 86 amazing volunteers who are invaluable in the day-to-day running of our shops.

Head on over to our ebay store where we sell a wide variety of antiques, collectables and rare items. We stock a range of vintage clothing, jewellery and ornaments as well as a selection of out of print books and first additions.

When you make a donation to us, whether that’s a direct financial gift or a donation of goods for us to sell in our charity shops, we’re able to claim back the tax that you have paid on the donation.
As a hospice charity, we don’t pay tax on most types of income, which is why the tax paid on donations we receive can be claimed back. This is called Gift Aid and amounts to an extra 25p for every £1 that you give.
