We are excited to announce that we will be moving to a new premises in Workington town centre, providing a new retail experience in the local community. The shop will stock a wide range of pre-loved, vintage and brand-new clothing, accessories, books, children’s toys and books, as well as some soft furnishings and ornaments. The project was made possible thanks to Nuclear Waste Services’ Community Investment Funding, awarded through the former Allerdale GDF Community Partnership.

Retail Manager, Judith Jarman, said “We are very grateful to Nuclear Waste Services’ Community Investment Funding for their support and are excited to open our doors. Our new shop is bigger and brighter, and with a dedicated access at the rear of the building, people can drop off their donations easily. We are grateful to all our regular customers, and look forward to seeing them again, as well as welcoming many new ones.”

The new shop is on 9 Campbell-Savours Way (next to Home Bargains) and will open on Monday 19th August. Our team of dedicated volunteers have been busy sorting stock, displaying merchandise and getting ready to welcome people.

Anyone wishing to donate items for the shop to sell can call 01900 268045 after September 1st to arrange a free collection. Every penny raised through sales at our Workington shop stays in West Cumbria and helps the charity continue to provide high quality, palliative and end of life care to people living in the local community.
