Thanks to students and staff at Lakes College who organised and supported the Lakes Christmas fundraiser meaning that Hospice at Home West Cumbria and two other local charities received almost £400 each!
Chris Nattress, principal at Lakes College said, “At Lakes College we exist to serve our communities and that extends to doing what we can to support important local causes and organisations who are making a real difference in West Cumbria. These three charities each have a huge positive impact on local people in all sorts of different ways and I’ve no doubt that members of our student body and staff will have benefited from their support in the past. The Lakes Christmas fundraiser is always a joyous occasion and being able to turn that celebration into a fundraising opportunity makes it even better!”
