We would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Melbreak Hotel for raising £633.00 by taking part in the Via Ferrata Xtreme challenge. The team set off on their challenge on Thursday 2nd May where they scrambled and climbed across Honister Cragg while securely harnessed to a cable for safety.
Caroline Hughes from the Melbreak Hotel said “Taking on the Via Ferrata challenge was something that pushed us all out of our comfort zone, but we had a fantastic day and supported each other throughout the challenge.
We chose to support Hospice at Home West Cumbria as they make a huge difference in our local community, supporting people at the end of life and it was great that we were able to contribute towards such a brilliant cause.”
