Charitable Trusts and Foundations provide essential funds that enable us to support loved ones and deliver palliative care for adults, helping them to live the best life for as long as possible.

Each year we need to raise over £1.3 million to maintain and develop our services and every single grant is extremely important to help us to achieve this goal. We’ve been very fortunate to receive generous funding from many organisations since we began providing a hospice at home service back in 1987 and we are very grateful for a number of recent grants which have enabled us to:

  • Provide skilled one-to-one home nursing
  • Purchase equipment to deliver specialist lymphoedema treatments
  • Run a group bereavement programme, supporting families who are struggling with their grief
  • Deliver vital services by funding our core activities

We would be delighted to talk to you about our work and how your Trust or Foundation can help us achieve our vision of all people in West Cumbria having timely access to personalised high quality palliative and end of life care.

Your support will make a real make a difference to people living with a terminal diagnosis and their families, whether through a restricted grant or by allowing us to use it where the need is greatest.  For more information, please contact Selina Williams, on 01900 873173 or email selina.williams@hhwc.org.uk.
