A huge thank you to Julie Long from Egremont who raised £955 in memory of her niece Claire Barwise by taking part in a step challenge throughout September.
“My niece’s first anniversary was coming up in September and as you can imagine we were all dreading it. I wanted to do something positive, so I decided to walk 10,000 steps a day to raise money for Hospice at Home West Cumbria. This vital charity supported Claire throughout her illness and is still supporting family members now.”
