They said “Hospice at Home West Cumbria have helped a lot of people and their families in the immediate community and we wanted to help ensure they can continue”

They initially challenged the clubs’ coaches to do the #socceraid challenge over the Easter weekend, consisting of 7 touches; a kick up off both feet, onto each knee, then each shoulder, finishing with a header.

They said “Ten of our age group coaches took part and completed the challenge raising £250”

“To enable us to donate more money, we opened it up to the young players, with 24 hours to send in their videos and we are delighted to say we are now able to donate £500 to the Hospice appeal”

“As a club we wanted to do something for the community, while having fun, being safe but competitive at the same time”

Hospice at Home West Cumbria are delighted that the club have got involved and supported their local Hospice charity.
