Thank you to Joanne, Tasha, and Eden-Rae Metcalfe for the donation of £651.28 raised at a recent charity event, ‘Let there be Rock’. The event was in memory of a beloved husband, father, and grandfather Stephen Metcalfe, also known to many as Metty.
Joanne said, ” We held the fundraiser in memory of Metty as it was his wish to host a fundraiser to give something back to Hospice at Home West Cumbria as we could not have done it without their help. Metty wanted to be at home with us until the end. Hospice at Home West Cumbria also helped us to manage the devastating diagnosis”.
The family would like to thank Buzz Elliot for organising some fantastic entertainment from himself and the following bands: Slagbank, Missing Pieces, Dunderhead, a tribute to Hammerhead and Hodgson Heroes. Also, a massive thank you to Dave and Becky from the Pack Horse for all their help, and friends and family who supported the charity event.
