This week we are proud to promote National Complementary Therapy week.

Complementary therapies offer a holistic approach to your physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing and for many patients with a life limiting condition, complementary therapies are often used alongside conventional medicine and can help to relieve anxiety and often improve physical symptoms such as nausea and pain. We also offer complementary therapies to carers and family members and those bereaved to help with any emotional discomfort. These include therapeutic massage, reflexology, reiki and breathing and relaxation techniques.

During this week we will be sharing personal stories on our social media platforms from our Senior Complementary Therapist and three Volunteer Complementary Therapists and also feedback from those who have received treatments.
