After cancelling our annual Light up a Life service in Millom due to the weather conditions in December, we now have a new date secured for it to go ahead on Sunday 24th March at 3pm in St George's Church.
Light up a Life has been an important part of the hospice calendar for many years. It provides an opportunity for people in our communities to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who are sadly no longer with us, but are always with us in our thoughts. These services are for everyone to come along and remember their loved one, not just those who have received our care.
The Light up a Life service will include readings, choir performances, moments of reflection and moving prayers. There will be candles available to light up during the service in memory of all the loved ones who have had a light dedicated in their memory.
