Community Support is vital to the work of Hospice at Home West Cumbria (HHWC) and we are very appreciative of the kindness and generosity shown by the local community.

We love to hear about our supporters and the events you are planning. Please let us know about your event so that we can support you every step of the way.

How Do I Pay In Money I Have Raised?

 

Pay By Phone
To pay your sponsorship money in over the phone please call the fundraising team on 01900 873173 and they’ll be happy to help.


Pay In Person
If you would like to drop money off, the best place to hand in your sponsorship is at our main office in Workington. The address is: Upper Floor, Cumbria House, New Oxford Street, Workington, CA14 2NA. We are open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. Please make sure you leave all the relevant details, including name and address so we can acknowledge your gift.

 

If you can’t make it to our office please make your way to one of our shops in Workington, Whitehaven or Cockermouth.

Please DO NOT send cash in the post. You can post a cheque, made payable to Hospice at Home West Cumbria with your details on and how you raised the money. Don’t forget to send in your sponsor form if you’ve taken part in a sponsored event.

How Can I Get HHWC Materials, Like Collection Tins, Balloons And Posters?

If you would like any HHWC promotional materials, please contact the fundraising team on 01900 873173 and we will do our best to provide you with what you need.


Can HHWC Promote My Fundraising Event?

If you let us have the details of your event we are happy to put it on our website, promote it via social media and include it in our events calendar (subject to space).


Can I Get A Letter Of Authorisation To Fundraise For HHWC?

A letter of authorisation outlines that you or your event is an official HHWC fundraising event. You may need a letter like this if you plan to do a street collection or ask organisations for raffle prizes. Email fundraising@hhwc.org.uk with your name, address and what you are doing to fundraise so we can issue the letter.


Can I Raise Money For HHWC Online?

Yes, you can set up an online fundraising page at either www.justgiving.com or www.virginmoneygiving.com Just visit either website, search for Hospice at Home West Cumbria and follow the simple instructions to create your page.
