SELLAFIELD CHARITY SNOWBALL GIVES £3,600 DONATION TO HOSPICE AT HOME WEST CUMBRIA

The charity has received funding of £3,600 towards computer and office equipment from the Sellafield Charity Snowball.

Trusts & Grants Officer, Selina Williams said: “We are delighted to receive this wonderful gift from the Sellafield Charity Snowball Fund. They have been tremendous supporters of Hospice at Home West Cumbria over the years, donating almost £30,000 in that time – a simply magnificent achievement. We rely heavily on support from the local community, and as the only hospice organisation in the region, our work of providing end of life care and support services for the people of West Cumbria is essential. The Snowball fund is celebrating a milestone in its history during 2018, marking 40 years of charitable support for the West Cumbrian community and we are incredibly grateful to have been a recipient of their generosity.”

Willie Reid, Chair of Sellafield Charity Snowball said: “Supporting charities in West Cumbria is a driving force of the Sellafield Charity Snowball, so what better way to launch our 40th year than by supporting Hospice at Home West Cumbria!”
