Run towards a better you for Hospice at Home West Cumbria
Join us for a picturesque run around the quiet country roads of Eaglesfield.
Starting near Paddle School, this 5K route is suitable for both professional and amateur runners.

Throughout 2017 Hospice at Home West Cumbria are celebrating 30 years of caring in the local community, to mark this fantastic milestone there are a number of events planned to bring the public together to raise vital funds to support the services hospice provide.
A once popular run, previously organized by Sam Ayres of BodyFit Cumbria, the Eaglesfield 5k road race is set to take place on Wednesday 17th May starting at 7pm, and Wednesday 12th July also starting at 7pm, with an expected turnout of around 100-150 runners, they are set to be popular evenings.
Sandra Sedgwick, Head of Marketing, Fundraising and Income Generation for the charity said:
‘This is the first event of its kind organised by HHWC, we promise everyone who enters a warm welcome and a race with fantastic support. If you are an elite runner with prize winning ambitions, chasing a new personal best time, or a recreational runner just out to enjoy
the spectacular views then this race is just right for you! We would like to thank Sam Ayres for her support in helping Hospice with the 5K runs.’
Starting near Paddle School, the 5k course takes the scenic route around the quiet country roads of Eaglesfield and is suitable for both professional and amateur runners over the age of 11. Entry is £8 to UKAA registered runners, and £10 to any non-affiliated.
